Design

The Murtaya has been designed by leading engineers from the automotive world. Attention to detail is evident everywhere. The striking styling, the responsibility of Jonathan Gould; whose credits include over 80 one off designs commissioned by the Sultan of Brunei; was refined from over 20 detailed concepts. The final design manages to be menacing yet subtle from every angle, complementing the ethos and character of the car. The super stiff monocoque tub is attributed to Dan Muir. With handling icons such as the Lotus Elise and Aston Martin DB9 to his name, Dan utilized the latest Catia software package to create a tub of immense rigidity, perfectly designed to accept and make best use of the 4 wheel drive, turbo charged running gear. The result is a car of immense straight line performance, yet also sublime 4x4 practicality and handling. All in all, a stunning combination.
